Dear all, i want to give my share about Nutella. Sorry for my delay but this days i had a slight temperature. Nutella is one of the most beautiful invention of the word.I know friends that grew up with bread and nutella ( one of this is my great friend Passi ). Nutella is italian product and i am fierce of it. B&S content: i read that the next year will come out a new film " the acid house " where B&S take a part ( like soundtrack).I'm glad cause this result is prestigious for this great scottish band . In november we can found Slow graffiti on sale ( in the soundtrack of the film) , i know this song cause i have this in a tape " radio session one", a very beautiful song. That's all. They also NEVER tip at restaurants for some reason and usually they are the type of tourist to wear boxer shorts (usually looking like they date from the 1980s) as regular shorts. Not to stereotype all British people or anything. . . Sinister: Gainsbourg/Lenoir

Robin always smiles at endings : >(i do like "je t'aime...moi non plus" also. it is so sexy!) Sexy is the word! I guess songs by Serge Gainsbourg are a good matter to learn french (and love?). I remember that the dj at the belle&sebastian gig in London played some songs by Gainsbourg ("Harley Davidson" at the end of the show). And don't forget Jane Birkin! Yesterday night, Bernard Lenoir (you know, the black session...) broadcasted 2 songs by Salako. After the first one, he said it was too short, so he gave us a second one, which is not usual for Bernard. Is'nt it lovely ? Last week he played a Looper's song. I think Bernard likes Jeepster's bands quite a lot. Sinister: When is Bernie on?

Hi there all, As you may see I have at last figured out how to alter those pescy emails settings, and I am no longer Kenny, sorry all! A new start and all that. Anyway, what I was really wanting to know was what times is Bernard Lenoir on? and on what frequency? Philipp's tales of B&S, salako, and espically my fav's Looper and making me desperate to get a listen. Does he also play French indie music? I thought that someone would help me find the station, I live in the south so reception shouldn't be too much of a problem. hello. this is post #, erm, 2 from me. i must have gotten lost in the shuffle, cause i only posted once before, and havent been able to do so since. it is 6 pm here in berkeley, california, but i just got back from an extended weekend trip to central florida and it really feels like 9 pm, and i have been up and about since 5 am on shuttle buses and airplanes and BARTs and buses. i wanted to write because my boyfriend and i went to EPCOT center in the fabled disneyworld, and easily half of the thousands of people at this theme park were british. how could i tell this? well, first of all, in each family group there would be at least one individual wearing a soccer jersey (or FOOTBALL for you cultural imperialist/centrist types) or t-shirt. after coming within hearing distance, i would discern that they were definitely not americans and displayed one of the many british speech types. and they were usually the ones with incredibly white legs and painfully red faces and necks. after the afternoon had passed i came to feel like a tourist in my own country. well, yes, i WAS a tourist in my own country, but what i really mean was that i felt like a tourist in another country, like unbeknownst (how the hell does one spell this?) to me, i was magically transported (through disney imagineering of course) to EPCOT center somewhere in an incredible hot and humid part of the british isles. so this leads me to ask three questions: 1. does everyone in the uk really own at least one soccer jersey? 2. have any of you non-american listers been to the evil disney parks, and what do you think about them? 3. was there some sort of big british holiday this past weekend that i didnt know about and would explain why orlando, florida was swamped with brits? i shant be going to any of those belle and sebastian shows, since california apparently isnt important enough to rate a stop this time around (but athens is, right? yep.) i am not looking forward to yer deluge of show reviews, as i am the sort that likes to keep these things to myself, but please indulge yerself and have fun, knowing that for every one of you there are 5 or so of us poor souls who arent watching a belle and sebastian show anytime soon. maybe i will eat some pez one night and wear daisies another night anyway. this is robin signing out. out of so many jessicas, there are at least two "robins" here. i am the one in lowercase letters....not cause i am all pretentious-e.e. cummings-outdated-crap, but because i am too lazy to depress the " shift" button all the time for capitol letters. (i do like "je t'aime...moi non plus" also. it is so sexy!) nihil sub sole novum. robin. Strange me here ticking away...working ...working..radio mumbling the news and stuff in the background and then I *swear* that I heard bla bla bla Stuart Murdoch bla bla bla...and LO! There's a piece on Belle And Sebastian on National Public Radio's "Fresh Air"...I know there have been NPR bits before..but it was silly..sweet...cute..nice. Like B&S for dummies. B&S 101. Stock brokers and business people all over are writing on little pieces of paper "things to get, Bell and Sebastan." Well....not that they're dumb..but maybe they don't know how to spell it just yet. My imagination runs away with me.
