Hello everyone ! Aaaaaaaaaaaaah ! Yesterday... Good day, sunshine. All my troubles seemed so far away. No rain at all. You think something like : "Wake up it's a beautiful morning Feel the sun shining for your eyes (...) so WAKE UP BOO ! There's so many thing for us to do" :) and then you realize that today you have to wait at home for a man from the electricity company to come. And of course he came at 18 o'clock. :( Yesterday I listened to "If you're feeling sinister" for the first time since the middle of august. And I felt very strange. Each songs gave me such thrills... I never felt like that, except when I'm in the arm of a certain girl I know (elle se reconna�tra). Especially "Fox in the snow". I was almost asleep and I had strange hallucinations. I felt so close to the band... I really believed they were playing live in my room and that Stuart was whispering in my ears. And the way he sings "You're going up, you're going down / You're going nowhere" made me laugh. It feels as if he's chewing bubble-gum. "Stars of track and field" and "Seeing other people" are really exceptionnal, blazing songs. Well... I really LOVE TWATTYBUS (by the way, have you noticed that they were less piano on it ?). Believe me. I don't want to make any silly and meaningless comparisons, but "If you're feeling sinister" is untouchable. ****************************** Private joke. Here, in France, when a cop kills someone (especially if the victim is black), he's acquitted and set free. When a 18 years old girl kills some cops, she has to die in jail in inhuman conditions. :( As we say here : "Police everywhere, justice nowhere". "Ooh ! Is this a wind up? Go on Suzannah, admit it. Look if this is real, I should point out that this is exactly what most of the list have been doing for the past year. I, for one, take sinister everywhere, and play it to everyone I can find, which includes my mum, my younger cousins (I'm an only child, but hey!, can't you tell?) friends, people in pubs and on buses, and on occasion, my headmaster. (who thought it was rather good and sounded like simon et garfunkel). I carpeted my actress friend's doorstep with twattybus (thats the lp, kids) flyers, just so she'd buy it too. I've heard fans complaining when other people 'steal' 'their' bands- but it is usually the old fans who complain, not the new ones. I'll risk being the voice of reason by saying that most of us on the list would like to see B+S successful, solvent, and remembered in 20 years time by more than just a bunch of saddo record obsessives. But then i only listen to B+S so that I look pale and interesting. The music's a load of lovey dovey crap. anyway, sorry honey, that was a bit flamy. Sinister: Crudeness Ahoy - I warn you

Thanks to everyone who wrote down the words to the spaceboy dream. Did anyone notice Loopy Stuart's lyric changes in the London gig? Of course, I did. Luckily I am a fast writer, and I caught the lot. Spaceboy Pish I dreamt I had to go to pish. I'm always kidding on about going to pish through the day but faced with the reality of it, in a dream, I was terrified. And it wasn't going to be like a mini pish. There was three of us going, but we couldn't all go into the same bog, we had to go one at a time, with a day between us. I had to go first, and it was the thought of pishing through all that black space, all the darkness with nothing in it, and then being the first one to pish there, all alone. I knew it was supposed to be all dark around, with just a bog, but what if I got there and it was light, all civilised and populated and stuff. So I made a plan. The other two pishers were going to be my pish assistant. My dad would come first after me, so I decided when I pished that I would just stay in my seat until he got there, and we could both pish together, and look around and see what sort of pish was there. And when I woke up, and I was lying there in the darkness, I thought I had pished, and I just lay still for a while, waiting for my dad to get there too. I wish B&S all the success the choose to grab...and if they chose to sell out and they went a bit crabby I might well switch my loyalties, but I'm sure I'd still buy their music. The bigger they get, the more likely they are to visit a smaller venue near you, rather than doing a few shows a year concentrated on major cities. this is what i heard: "I dreamt i had to go to Mars. I'm always kidding on about going to Mars for the day, but faced with the reality of it, in a dream, i was terrified. And it wasn't going to be like a moon trip - there was three of us going, but we couldn't all go on the same ship; we had to go one at a time with a day between us.
