Pornographer! I'm all of a tingle now!
Anticipation... I remember anticipation. Actually I
have been anticipating getting the "new" 80s WHO DVD
for some time, but I am told it is rubbish. I don't
know whether I should allow such tittle-tattle to put
me off.
I have seen an advertisment in the traditional music
press for the Belle and Sebastian Civic Pride tour and
I was wondering who the people in the photograph are.
The geezer looks like Sam Mendes and the ladies look
like the usual B&S street urchins after a wash and
brush up. I say Sam Mendes because I am following a
new policy of saying the first thing that comes into
my head if I can't find the right words. I did of
course mean Ken Livingston AKA Red Ken.
And waht about this Another Late Night CD? Eh? Eh? EH?
The download only concert recording got an excellent
review in The Observer on Sunday. I will have to check
it out, big time.
Last night I watched the telly and it was Cherie Blair
meets Norma Major and Norma Major was much nicer. I
bet she is as excited as I am to see who is going to
be the new Tory leader. I live in Maidenhead and we
are all true blue not like you smellies.
Lots of love,
Peter

Does everyone know that this is available - am I always the last to
know..?
http://www.donewaiting.com/archives/2005/11/new_belle_and_s_1.php
I heard the Funny Frog toon on Mark Radcliffe...is it just me or does
Stuart now always sound like he is singing in the room next door from
everyone else? Such a wee wee voice.
It reminds me of the Black Sabbath
stories of the album recordings after Ozzy and Bill Ward left, when
Ronnie Dio and Vinny Appice were turning down the guitars,
and Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi were turning down the drums and vocals
and the sound engineer turned ot the bottle, and that is a good story..
Take care
Linda

Hello all,
This will be short. I can't remember if anyone has mentioned this but there
is a video up http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/musicscotland/musicshow/ .
I'm sure everyone in England and Scotland has already seen (been in) it. And
yes, Wales, Robin. But maybe not the rest of you. I was lucky enough to
watch it in best possible company ever. Oh, and do NOT fix your eyes on
Stuart because you just might start to feel dizzy.
Thanks for the link Linda.
Straight from winter wonderland,
Ulla x
