He's got a new album coming out (which was actually recorded a long time ago.)

Greetings sinisterines.
I have recently been endowed with FIFTEEN (yes, that's 15) lovely Tiger's
Milk bars. No, I did not make the foolish mistake of procuring this
delicious treats for myself; let's just say they were a "gift." So, here's
the deal: for any of you UK listees who may not have experienced the
various flavors of Tiger's Milk (there's Honey--my personal favorite :
)--and peanut butter and Extra Protein, whatever that means) please email
me PRIVATELY (off the list) if you'd like me to mail you one. They're worth
it for the wrapper alone, I think, and I've been told they make great wall
decor and paperweights. Be forewarned though: these bars, despite the
pleasant-sounding name, probably really taste more like, say, the record
sleeve to a certain hard-to-find LP we are all familiar with. Yes, that's
to say they linger like cardboard on the palate.
So, the first lucky 15 respondents will have their very own Tiger's Milk in
the mail. Just email me and I'll let you know if you're one of the
privileged few!
bye bye,
AmandaSwannie

If the new stuff comes out in June then why not have a launch picnic??
It would be an unusual way to promote a record and give a chance for
wizened hacks to spend time with the band and the fans which would be
good for them if not us.
Some would doubtless write about what a joy it was to meet so many
disparate individuals brought together by the power of the music. Others
would write about what a hopeless bunch of indie-schmindie
ne'er-do-wells we all were. But some people will never get it...
We're so lucky!!

Yo,
Where is everybody? I haven't recieved any Sinister mails since
Friday! If this is just a problem confined to my computer system then
perhaps Paul can mail me with info as to what is going on, or if others
are experiencing the same problems, then what's going on?
Maybe someone somewhere could mail me to say what's goooin on?
Oh well,

1. My first message (after a few weeks lurking).
Somebody complained about new mailers praising B&S. I've been musically
conscious
since before the Beatles (hibernating a lot it in recent years) , and IYFS is
one of the greatest
refreshers for tired ears and brains of its time, up there with Astral Weeks,
Stormbringer, After the Goldrush,
Hissing of Summer Lawns. And what's wrong with starting off on that foot?
2. Re. Living the Songs:
> John WIgham suggested turning tables in M&S.

I didn't quite dream of horses but last Saturday the Irish Times racing section
had a headline: "Dun Belle on Track".
Obviously this was a message from God, who used to send messages as dreams at
one time - see Bible or have a cup of tea with someone who's into Bible
studies. I hadn't bet for years but how many B&Sers also read the ITimes
racing section? The race was at 2.45 in Haydock, I put IRœ5 each way on Dun
Belle, and took my son to the park for an hour to leave Dun Belle in peace as
he/she was making my fortune in faraway fields. Returned from the park, without
looking back, to the bookies to find that Dun Belle was an also-ran. My son
had to do without his lemonade as I only had the price of 5 pints left
(joking!).
There are 2 Marks and Spencers in Dublin, Ireland but I don't know if they have
tables to turn. It would be cheaper than dreaming of horses.
