>I'm another bored at uni I'm afraid. We don't even start lectures until
Thursday
What.....you mean every week? I'm going back to uni to get bored.
>Until you've been properly bored, you can't begin to understand the entertainment value of reading another e-mail about Wallace & Gromit merchandise or the children of members of Shawaddywaddy.
Am I right in thinking that another "son of Showaddywaddy" once played football for Luton Town (and may still do)?

The same thing happened to me. I was browsing in Virgin, Edinburgh and
spotted Kelvingrove Baby. I decided to buy it because a) They supported
B&S and b) The girl on the cover was so beautiful. I was sure the music
would be just a beautiful as her, even though I'd never heard the band
before. It was a pretty stupid thing to do but I was not disappointed. So
yeah, I would recommend Kelvingrove Baby.
Duke very kindly sent me another one of there CDs. I havent had much
time to listen to it, but it does not sound as good as KB.
John.

God you students have it tough, don't you! Finding a job where they don't mind your hair/clothes will be a relative piece of cake. Try finding a job where you only have to do nine hours a week! (And if you do, please let me know - I want one too!).

>Hello P (P???),
I loved Judy Blume when I was a kid, especially Tales Of A
Forth-Grade-Nothing and its sequels. Doesn't anyone in England read any
Blume? In Holland no-one's heard of her, but I can't think of any Dutch
writer who is so in touch with modern youth. And Blume's books were written
in the seventies and they're still not old-fashioned!

..And yet another closet sciver emerges from the closet - when feeling
particularly lacklustre in the office, and when there are no B&S
messages to while away the hours, I have a beachball which provides me
with infinite entertainment. Sadly I don't have a basketball net, or a
beach for that matter, but I can now do about 40 keepie-uppies.
[Keith Watson]
Oh... we've got a beach ball, so we place the bins at opposite ends of the office and attempt to lob it back and forth into the bins to amuse ourselves for about an hour.
Belle and Sebastian might like beach balls - quite a number of them definitely have balls.

Hi,
Since I've just posted a non-B&S related mail, heres something more
relevant...
This is a question that doesn't really mean much and doesn't really have
to. I'm only curious because of a debate going on in a fav comic of
mine.
When the new B&S album comes out will this mailing list keep the same
name?
The comic? 2000AD. Will it change in a few years, what to, does it need
to? Does this question really need to be answered?
B.T.W does anyone know anything about the upcoming B&S gigs in
Manchester around December? Please!
C ya
Paul

Yes, your quite right. I tried to get into the Glasgow show at the
Cottier, but it was sold out by the time I got there, cos I didn't have
a ticket, cos I'm stupid.
I overheard people in the street saying it wasn't to hot, but does
anyone know better? Please share...
This was the week before the big free B&S gig in Kelvingrove park which
was moved to the QM (hip kids union at Glasgow Uni) because it was very
rainy indeed. Were the Bathers the band on immediately before B&S? No
hold on that was the Pastels. Were the Bathers the band on immediately
before the Pastels? If it was I remember a lady drummer. I'm probably
thinking of the wrong band. They were very polished and reminded me of
the Incredible String Band (joking).
What do we think of B&S as a live band?
