I always thought this was loosely based on Oscar Wilde's 'A picture of Dorien Gray'?
"There's a portrait, in the back room..."
It's odd, but I've never actually read that book, nor seen the movie. Out of all the 100s of books I've read, I never read that one. I don't know why. So, I just spoke from my own experience. Different people have different impressions, different interpretations, based on their own experiences and knowledge. That's what makes art so great, whether it's music or paintings or films etc. +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
