What an amazing moment, when they came out on stage, the crowd cheered for a minute, then fell silent when the first bit of Sleep the Clock Around became lightly audible. It was surreal to have a packed house in the Warfield, but no one makes a sound, just the band up there playing a tune I'm only used to hearing on my stereo. I was dreaming the entire evening.
