hello, I've notised the big ruckus about copies of tigermilk and such being put on CDs. How this has an impact on B&S revenues since 95% of us will want our own mastered copy instead of a bassy phono copy from tape or CD, i don't know and am not willing to discuss at the moment. one thing that I don't see being discussed is live taping. is it allowed? if so, is it audience or soundboard? I would really like to tape the upcoming athens show (if it's still on; I haven't seen a confirmation yet), but I don't know anything about B&S' or jeepster's policy. I'd be willing to make three copies (in addition to a copy for jeepster's use) in exchange for a taped copy of tigermilk so that everyone can have it. any response would be greatly appreciated. cheers, leo ================================================================== "...people would like to think that there's somebody up there who knows what he's doing. since we don't participate, we don't control and we don't even think about questions of vital importance. we hope somebody is paying attention who has some competence. let's hope the ship has a captain, in other words, since we're not taking part in what's going on" -noam chomsky ================================================================== +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
