The overwhelming 'good-naturedness' of the list and the cause of pretty little pep messages like Arantxa's was proved yet again by the scrumptious bunch of people that attended the piccernic on Saturday - Yo Lixi, you can baffle my lemur any day of the week! After hearing several reports of tapes and supportive messages passed among list members, my blokey (a member of the simply fascinating Widhearts list - go on hit onelist.com, I know you want to) said that Sinister sounded like, well, one big circlejerk. How funny, he doesn't even know about the gang-wanking whimsython, or that marvellous remote controlled mosheen or our current illuminating thread on the secrets closest to all girly's erm, hearts (which thread is, in my humble opinion running far longer than it would without all these recurring references to Mr R Martin and his luscious latino lustiness). Oh and sorry, Ben. If the belle and Sebastian fans you saw at Baxendale were dancing like demons down the front of the gig, then that was us, a small rebel faction of the picnic straying from the main herd. I have taken home my Baxendale single and played it to myself sober - it's still fun, but the My Life Story-ness of it is much more obvious in the cold light of day.
