Pernice Brothers were also once the Scud Mountain Boys, with a beautiful slide guitar and a bass player who made his own guitars. Joe Pernice was the lovely vocals. They put out three albums, the last two were put out as a double CD on subpop in the states. The first, Pine Box, was recorded on a single mike, and is amazing when you think of that. A limited vinyl only release, with an amazing cover of Wichita Lineman.
