hello everyone wooo...lots to say today. well, today in school i played "seymour stein" as part of an english project in which we were to find examples of a faustian-type deal... needless to say, my english teacher wasn't into b&s at all. thankfully, the rest of the class took a little more kindly to the song, which is good because the projects are being graded by the class concensus. i also wore my homemade b&s t shirt today...it's got the 2 drawings of mod-looking girls from the "2 shows: edinburgh & glasgow" live poster, and the lazy line painter b&s logo on a white shirt. a few of my friends like to tell me that one can't listen to belle and sebastian if they aren't stoners, and i don't smoke the cannabis, so... they can arse off because i've been down w/ b&s before they began experimenting w/ controlled substances anyhow. oh well... on a less b&s related note, tomorrow (tues 2 nov), i am going on a field trip to nyc w/ a few friends in my computer art class so we can "learn what graphic artists do in the real world." accompanying me on the hour long busride shall be momus' splendidly wonderful "stars forever". one word: eargasm. i cannot get enough of this record...i finally found a copy around here (here being a northern new jersey suburb) yesterday, and it's been all i can listen to. the concept alone is genius. well, to tie things up, i'd like to say i'm trying to plan a meetup/gathering for northern new jersey/possibly new york city sinisters...anyone interested in helping and/or contributing ideas can email me off the list. well, i do believe i've taken up enough room. thank you all for yr time. gracias, aloha, bonjour, mike j adrock@netrom.com **ape shall never kill ape** +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
