Hello Sinister. I write with little to say, I'm afraid, although this gem in my inbox from those wonderfully thoughtful people at Amazon.co.uk was too good not to share. It's the personal touch that gets me:
Dear Customer,
We've noticed that many customers who've purchased albums by Various are also interested in >music by Various. For this reason, you might like to know that the new CD by Various is now available.
And indeed, I was interested to know that nugget of information; I am a big fan of Various after all, having many of their albums, though unfortunately I don't think I will be indulging in their latest offering. There was a York picnic a while back. I don't think anybody reported back as far as I can remember, and it seems that the time for doing so has kinda passed now. As I recall though, it was a fun day attended by the York Sinister Massiv and then more people besides. You missed out, if you didn't come that is. I finish my degree in a week. As in for good. Sam Walton, BSc. 18 years in the British education system for 10,000 words, due by next Friday, midday. I've written most of them already actually, so I should be okay. But then what? Jeeze, I don't know. The Real Life, I suppose, as Freddie M might have said. I do have a holiday booked though, which is cause for excitement and a little request: If the Sinister Icelandic Wing has any suggestions of cool places/things to go/do in Reykjavik for 5 days in the middle of August, then do be in touch. The same request applies to the New York & Surrouding Area Wing too, as I will be visiting that neck of the woods for the three weeks before Iceland. Maybe a picnic even? Okay, well I won't push it. Anyway, that's about it. love Asm.x P.S. Who else is coming to the Somerset House gig on the Sunday? Picnic beforehand? ================================ "He's strictly a pain in the ass, but he certainly has a good vocabulary" - Holden Caulfield +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
