1. oh QUICK! before i forget (i always forget. everything). uuuuuum... oh yeah - if the one who wanted to know where to get the MUM lp (well, CD, actually) is in London, thestoreiworkin (sigh...Virgin) has - fanfare - ONE copy! i know this cos i care for the "M" section. stop me if this gets too pathetic. oh. too late huh? 2. MARMITE! it's kinda like Tool (the band) really isn't it? in that you either LOVE it or just wanna destroy it. no fence sitting either way. oh - is that a tautology? i love tautologies. but only with great lashings of irony, of course. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. i guess b&s are a little like that too. and for the record, i love marmite (with cheese or eggs or BOTH!) , and i love tool and belle too. no surprises there then. but marmite from nz is yummier (yikes, here come the colonial wankerisms - DUCK!) cuz it's slightly less bitter and NOT runny. so THERE! 3. things are getting weird for me cuz i just heard the first isobel-thing that i didn't H!A!T!E! (sorry but she's just too saccharine for me usually). i went to the link to the scottish bbc evening sesh page thing and listened to her doing the billie holiday stuff and its well weird! weird meaning ace. go girl! 4. the place i am in is a public internet facility - does anyone else have to email from these places? - and it's playing a "greatest epic guitar wank party toons ever" or something CD. we just had toploader, and now manics' "motorcycle emptiness". aaaaaaaaah, takes me back. i was a (gulp) gleeful first year philosophy student when it came out and i LOVED it. times sure as shit do change, that's for sure... 5. i am interviewing that new dodgy AS NYC band ARE Weapons tomorrow. i think they are scary. and possibly smelly. any ideas/tips/questions anyone? guess that's enough then. oh no! just remembered - does anyone else think "Carriage Clock" sounds EXACTLY like "i've been to paradise but i've never been to me"? cuz it SO so SO SO sooooooooooooooooooooo does! wild love, brenda ------------------------------------------------------------ . +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
