I ran to the record stores and got a copy due to a burning desire to hear 'The State...' again after hearing it on Radcliffe... must be the only LP I've bought on the strength of one song, lucky it was 'Tigermilk', then. It was #7.99 in the local indie store in Northampton, the other copy they had was bought by the boy next door (honest!), so that's two more accounted for... Sadly, I've managed to get a groove in 'The State..' so it goes 'b-by a dream.. b-by a dream' over and over until you can't stand it anymore... makes it unsellabe (is that a word?) I suppose, but then I don't want to sell it:) I'm 16 (sorry, it's not my fault!), doing A-levels, and I've just found out my birthday's 2 days before Stuart M's - nice bit of useless trivia - and it's the same day as Shaun Ryder's. Wow. Which means I bought 'Tigermilk' when I was 14 - does that make me cool or tragic? Or a bit of both? I thought the lyric was either 'I'm only lucid...' or 'elusive...'. And the 'we're four boys in our curduroys' lyric cheered me up for, like, the rest of my life. Hannahxxx ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
