Hello again, *WARNING* This post will actually have B & S content. This does not mean the post will be worth reading. But first... Last night one of my old friends from high school called me, and told me his band was playing in a BW3 (for those of you who don't know, it is a place to buy chicken wings and beer, not to see bands play.) and me being the sort of nice guy that I am went to see them. They bored the hell out of me of course (they are talented musicians, but work under the mistaken assumption that music has to be complex to be good) but I got to see my friend Nate, who informed me that he had been fired from his job, took a $7 pay cut at his new one, got his jeep broken into, his cds stolen, and got his 19 year old girlfriend pregnant (Nate is 25.) This put into perspective the fact that my main bone of contention with the world right now is the fact that I have to wait until March 31 to see the Make Up play live. It's been a good week so far. I started writing again, and that makes me feel good. I'm glad that I think I have something worth saying. And now what you have all been waiting for: The B & S CONTENT Sometimes I wish that Belle and Sebastian would just break up so that I can stop having the expectation that I may actually see them play live some day and getting all geared about a new LP. Maybe some day, different members of B & S will start touring under the name B & S and then there will be litigation and then they will end up getting back together. Just like Yes.
