well, we all made it through! i've now got to drink up the seven hundred and thirteen cases of bottled water my mum bought before they expire...ermm....can water expire? so, this was, hands down, the weirdest new years ever. in brief it involved a room full of strangers, a kareokee machine, a cardboard cut-out of C3PO and a two hour game of spin the bottle. and of course, alc-i-hol. more detailed information will be made available to those who care. after a three hour snooze on the lovely and sinister teri's couch, we were treated to an afternoon viewing of "The Last Night". it freaked me out a bit, but i didn't say anything. after all, who said the world would end at the stroke of midnight...? i'm knocking on every piece of wood i see, that's for sure! the new millenidumb had given me an itchy bottom. not in a rude way, but it's my bottom none the less. i think lifting my coat up every five minutes is scaring people away. well, there's always something that'll do that, isn't there? santi claus gave me more cds than i know what to do with. i've taken over every stereo in my house and have new tunes randomly playing in every room so no matter where i go i get a little listen and a tingle in my spine. i even took them with me on our holiday 'visits'. i asked to put nicky drake on at my godparents house and they asked me what he sounded like and i said he's a little bit folky. so they put him on and said, 'so it's just a guy and his guitar!?' and i didn't know how to reply cause i was wondering what the hell their definition of folk was.... i better go nap now. my first class of the morning involved a slide show of galaxies, and the unanimous class snoring overpowered the little prof man. what was he thinking, turning the lights off during the first class after the holiday? but before i float away, the sweetest hello and happy new year kiss goes out to all my lovely summer chums and T.O. 'ites.
