We recorded two songs for the TV programme 'The Apocalypse Tube', appearing alongside the likes of Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams. It has already been broadcast on Sky One, when they only showed one of the two songs we recorded, 'The Loneliness of a Middle Distance Runner'. The other song, 'Beyond the Sunrise', the makers assure us, will be shown when the programme is repeated on Channel 4 on 1st January- ie just after the bells at new year- at 1am, finishing 4am. I think it's being shown again on New Year's Day at around 6pm too.
I am told this Beyond the Sunrise is an 'ambitious' number. What can this mean? Here's hoping it's code for 'full of Eastern promise', with sitars and everything.
