When Hollywood finally gets around to making a "modern rendition" of F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby," how much would you pay to see Britney Spears as Daisy? Nothing? Ok, just making sure we're all on the same page... No one has said whether the new B&S album has been completed, so I guess that means they're STILL at it. This is going to be an epic record I imagine! I mean, seriously, how long has the recording been for this album...5-6 months of straight work? It was supposed to be done in June, then September, then October, then November, then January, now at least February which means it won't be out until at least May...Ye Gads! It'll all be worth it though when the record is done and we can all hear Struan's take on "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)." I know that this little tidbit hasn't hit the rumor mill yet, but let's just say I'm "in the know." Ok, I'm really not and I made that entire thing up...but I'd still like to see it. Apparently we have two future bridge-hoppers in our midst, which makes for some very interesting talk. I do the same thing, but only with curbs like I dare myself to just totally hop the curbs on the side of...oh God that sound lame compared to bridge jumping. I'm not even going to finish that idea... Someone voted for me in the list crush polls recently. Please people, if you only knew my sorry ass rating in on-line chess, I'd be shunned like a leper. I used to be quite a monster on the school team, but now the magic is gone. My Najdorf Sicilian is as sterile as Quentin Crisp. How sad. Where did someone hear that B&S are playing ATP? Wow, if thats true those tickets will go like mad! I really hope they play that or Glastonbury this year (which I hear will feature REM and the Flaming Lips). When was the last show B&S played, like April or May or something? It's got to be close to a year right?
