Hellooo Having lurked on and off for just over a year now, I feel compelled to SING OUT in praise to the mighty Sinister and its many farmyard animiles. I am Dave, I live in Glasgow, I am a student, I am a stereotype. Last night, I went to see Salako and was a bit disappointed. I don't know- I really, really want to like them but everything I've heard by them, inc. stuff at the gig, I just don't enjoy. (w/ the definite exception of 'go on then!...'). Sorry. They were damnably tight and accomplished but I think I am too impatient for their meandering tunes. Support was OK. Fonda 500 were v. lo-fi by numbers w/ Casio keys and songs about monkeys. Late Night Foreign Radio made some booful music, though, I thought (tho' the faster stuff was quite untight). Luckily, I only live across the road, so I stayed 'til the end w/out much fear of being mugged or battered by taxi drivers. Hoorah! Sorry if I have been -ve.
