Ha HA! I have a copy of Tigermilk, it cost me 8 pounds and i spent weeks trying to get the address of the people i had to write to ( thank you Mark Radcliffe ) . Its in the brown cardboard sleeve they sent it to me in. After I got it they also wrote me a couple of letters ( signed by B&S) which was nice. No coffee stains, and i wont know the serial number until i go home and see it again. ( which is in Aberdeen ) I also have all the posters for the 3 singles. Some people think i'm obsessive.
Does anyone have a full copy of the Mark Lamarr session they did ? I dhave the songs but only poor copies ( i didnt have a very good recorder in those days.)
Er , I hope i havent made too much of an arse of myself.
Simon.
You've made yourself look like a complete plonker, Simon. Eight quid?!!! I got mine for bugger all, but I've made a complete twat of myself by managing to lose the press release thingy that came with it. So it's only worth 250 smackers instead of 400 million or something. No coffee stains, but the cover is creased, which probably drastically reduces its financial value. It's only been played once, not due to my fanatical record collector habits, but because I haven't got a record player. I've got it on a poor quality tape that I've listened to once and a half. I've got two Elton John CDs and last week I sent a letter to William "the" Hague. I break wind profusely. It occurred to me the other day that all the members of Belle and Sebastian must have copies (keeping count, Paul?) so that might be why they don't want to rereleases it. So that their own copies are worth billions and billons of petrodollars What dispicable behaviour! I applaud them for it.
