evan dando was at b&s!?! eeeew! when i was a wee child,he used to be in my SEVENTEEN magazines, and he had really long hair and SEVENTEEN was always like 'Oh what we wouldn't give to run our fingers through his hair?' and I always thought i was a lesbian because i wasn't attracted to him...and now where is he,stupid bloated potatoe thinks he's so cool....next Kate Moss will be showing up at Belle and Sebastian shows...
hey, dont knock evan dando- he was quite cool in his day, although ill admit 'his day' is decidedly over. but in the come on feel/ postcard days...mmmm....besides, anyone who plays a song written my charles manson has to get credit... and kate moss is hardly a good female counterpart example- evan dando was a rock star, kate moss is a waif-addict?-model. argh. no comparision at all : )
in seymour stein the lyric sheet says "it reminded me i'd been crying," but i think in the song it's "it were mine and i'd been crying." i like the 'were' one :)
on the vinyl version of TBWTAS the lyric sheet says "it were mine and id been crying" so you are right indeed. what lyric sheet misquoted it? oh yeah, and i wanted to thank all the nice people who helped me with this whole tape trading thing. i think it is great to exchange music this way, for i am lacking in the fund dep't from my consumerist attitudes that tend to overtake me whenever i visit any establishment/show selling albums/cds. you guys are great : ) dana +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
