I like the idea of camping - very Famous Five. I can just imaging popping my head out of the tent in the morning to see lots of cardigan wearing people about to head off to the local farmhouse for beakfast - massive portions expected - but running into some madcap adventure along the way, most likey involving misty moors, an abandoned railway tunnel and an old legend. Those in America can simultaneously have a Hardy Boys style adventure, although that might be a bit more Arab Strap than Belle & Sebastian.
I love the idea of a load of us taking over a campground or Butlins for a super-soaraway Soul Weekender for this meet-up thing. But we would need an awful lot of people. Still if it's in a Pub in Preston or a Bordello in Bathgate can we please call it the Sinister Soul Weekender - it'd a be a great name. I think it'll be a great event with all manner of fun and crazy shenanigans. Some will blame the sunshine, others the moonlight. Yet more will try and pin the responsibility on the good times. But not me. I sir, shall blame it on the boogie.
