Mick Cooke, the gorgeous B&S trumpet bloke, used to play guitar in 'Tetsuo', a thrash-metal combo who were kicking round Glasgow in the early 'nineties. Cam Jeffery (vocals) is worth a mention as he was very good too. Apparently he taught Catriona Mitchell from the Pastels how to play the guitar. There you go, an additional tenuous link between B&S and the great Glasgow instituation that is the Pastels. I'd be interested in information on their collaborative single too. Also.... On a cheesy theme.... Mick played in a band called 'Perambulator' before Hardbody. One of there songs was called 'I have your nose' and featured the lines: love me please like I love my CHEESE but don't you drill holes in my knees And I know 'cos I was there. Now who said that??
