hi sinister ppl! hope ur all good. i'm asking u guys a favor. i need help choosing b+s CDs to get someone into b+s. she's this lovely lovely person who also happens to be my italian teacher. she only has 'boy with the arab strap' and she admitted that she's not really into b+s. she says the songs r so sad that every time she listens to them she tries to kill herself, and that 'they r like...the smiths gone wrong.' well, true that b+s songs r sometimes really depressing, but they r more than sadness, and thats what i'm trying to show her. now she told me she likes more 'avantgard' music, and i'm feeling a bit hopeless at this attemp. would any of u consider b+s avantgard? maybe just a tiny bit? i am going to give it a try anyway (this is the responsibility of being a b+s fan =) but i still need help choosing CDs, which ones do u think would be more appropriate for a potential b+s beginner like her? i have all the EPs and LPs except for 'tigermilk' (which i lent to one of my best friends and is on the way home, but it'll not get here in time becuz it takes about 3 months for it to get here from china and she only sent it last month...) a BIG thank-u! liqin +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the undead Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
