Hello folks, Here's an email that I got sent to me at www.belleandsebastian.freeserve.co.uk "Just saw your website & I thought I'd drop you a line as in a couple of weeks (4th Aug.) Chris Geddes & Andy Symington aka Andy Divine (B & S sleeve designer and gig DJ) are DJ'ing @ my club 'Beatnik Butterfly' in London. The club runs once a month at The Garage in Islington and we use the upstairs function room, not surprisingly called 'Upstairs @ the Garage' and it's very small cosy and nice. The club holds only 150 people which makes it a very inimate affair and very easy going. Andy and Chris will be playing for around 3 hours after the guest band for the evening have performed who are called 'Casino' - and they're very good. Beautiful harmonies and uplifting 60's fuelled mod pop tunes. This will work very nicely with Chris & Andy's set which will probably mix Northern Soul with Funk, Psychedelia & 60's pop gems. The club starts @ 9pm and is £5 before 10.30, £6 after. Nearest tube = Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line)." That's all for now, hope this is of interest to somebody (and if you do go, tell them where you heard it first!)
