hello all. i have been trying to save up information, but after a while it just gets too much and i want to splurge it all over your inboxes. i'm going up to "Embra" (as the charming Idleberry calls it) on thursday for the festival. me and some friends are staying in the halls until sunday, which we did last year too. if there's karaoke at the pleasance again then i will be there howling along to moon river or some such mor nonsense. do you remember i told you i was going to tate modern ever so early on a tuesday morning? well, i went and it was fantastic, just brilliant - they've got a whole room of andy warhols and it's all free which is an extra special treat for me as an empovrished almost-student. but the point of mentioning that was that as i got on my bus to get to the tube station there was a gentleman in a belle and sebastian t-shirt getting on another bus. which made me quite happy because i did think that i was the only belle and sebastian fan in shepherd's bush since Derek-the-Canadian moved back to Canada. So maybe i will have someone to share a night bus home with after all. and David Strange said "Finally I'm so very happy as the one the only Sophie-Ellis-Bexter is back in the music, even if it is on a dodgy dance record.
