Hello everyone. Sitting in a grey office on a grey london afternoon. Should be a lyric. Off out soon so life will no doubt get a bit perkier. I have had 'family tree' spinning round my head now for about 5 days or so. Beautiful disturbing song - I guess in my business (psychiatry) I may read too much into things but the song says so much that one sees. Myths about families that last across generations, that the concepts one uses to think (however liberated) are 'inherited' and how frightening/stifling families can be. But they are also a source of strength - I can't remember who said it but 'become what you are'. People underestimate the amount of facticity in one's life - all that free will, soul, christian stuff I expect. Beautiful voice singing. What else to say? Glastonbury - I've not been for years now but is it just a bunch of crooks dressing up as hippies/gypsies and fleecing gullible white middle class kids? I suppose it serves as a rite of passage alongside inter-railing and cannabis. Sorry for the cynicism today.... Not usually this bad! Poxendale - was my amusing fellow monsignor in the B+S church making a dig at the witty, vibrant, creative and IRONIC Baxendale? I think the public should be told. Similarities - some of the slow moody numbers remind me of the Church - if you ever come across 'Aura' copy it /buy it. Hey ho. Treatment for depression - loud music, hot shower and afterwards, the first few chapters of 'Brideshead Revisted'. Bye-bye, 'monkey _______________________________________________________ Get 100% FREE Internet Access powered by Excite Visit http://freelane.excite.com/freeisp +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the undead Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
