I feel very privileged to be in that exclusive gang of Sinister people who felt the need to apologise to Charlotte Hall at Shepherds Bush - (and my initials are JJ so your memory is not deserting you.) All I can say is that she is a beautiful and intelligent women and I was really apologising to myself I guess for talking such complete bollocks when I was introduced that I feared I wasn't comming across as the devil-may-care dangerous and sexy genius that i hope to come across as.Heavens above I was about to talk about Deacon Blue - you'll understand that apologies were in order. I did a comedy turn a couple of weeks ago <plug>and again tonight if you're in Sth London - The Bedford Pub in Balham @ 9pm</plug> and with the proceeds I bought "Songs for Swingin' Lovers" by the late Frank Sinatra. My first thought was that if that album came out today the title would have very different connotations. My second and subesequently only thought that it is such an aural delight that I have scarce heard the like. You can't help but smile and sing along with his wonderful voice and those delicious Nelson Riddle arrangements. It's just too marvellous for words. Glad the Boston gig was fun. xx John +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
