Hey kids, I'm not sure if anyone will care or not, but NBC's version of Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment will air this Sunday, October 11th, at 9PM PST/EST. Its one of my, if not THE, favorite novels I've ever read, and it looks like the made for TV adaptation might actually be pretty good. Patrick Dempsey plays Raskolnikov, and it also stars Ben Kingsley (Zamitov maybe?) and Julie Delpy (Sonya, I think). Anyway, this is entirely not related to B+S (unless you count the line from Modern Rock Sock) but I thought some of you scholarly kids out there might have liked the book and cared to see the movie. Alright, now I'm off to get a "Crunchy Peanut Butter" Cliff Bar. I don't know if they have these in the UK, but I could seriously live off of them.
