Hello everybody. Bit quiet round here, isn't it? Funny considering there's a new record imminent and all. I hear Stuart's going to celebrate its launch by chairing a pub quiz at the next NPL. Sounds like fun. Anyway, I have this traffic tracker device thingy on the How Does It Feel website and it tells me what people have typed into Google to end up in my tiny corner of the net. I thought you might be interested in the last few searches that resulted in people going to the HDIF weblog. There's one in particular that someone here might like to know about. 28 Aug, Thu, 09:16:50 Google: kjartan cute 28 Aug, Thu, 21:46:40 Google: "bar oporto" endell home page 29 Aug, Fri, 16:23:28 Google: jonsi "sigur ros" interview 03 Sep, Wed, 16:30:57 Yahoo: dolly wilde kensal green 03 Sep, Wed, 20:44:39 MSN Search: how long does it take to fall in love 04 Sep, Thu, 21:29:50 Google: THE SEA URCHINS + INDIE 06 Sep, Sat, 07:13:10 Google: javis hope sandoval 08 Sep, Mon, 02:04:49 Google: sirkus photos iceland 09 Sep, Tue, 04:15:48 Google: ken chu+girlfriend 10 Sep, Wed, 02:46:59 Google: kristen hersh "your ghost" "i think last night you were running circles around me" lyrics 10 Sep, Wed, 15:34:10 MSN Search: the garage magaluf 11 Sep, Thu, 15:49:20 Google: shangri las past present future 12 Sep, Fri, 17:46:41 Yahoo: Swedish Morrissey and Smiths fan-club 15 Sep, Mon, 21:32:03 Google: pristine christine mp3 16 Sep, Tue, 08:57:01 Google: "what to do with myself" sinatra "like a summer rose" 16 Sep, Tue, 16:03:00 Yahoo: manu chou + lyrics 16 Sep, Tue, 16:21:02 Google: "field mice" "end of the affair" lyrics "this is the end" My, looks like someone has an admirer. See some of you Friday. x ps - How great a rhyme is "I'd rather be in Tokyo/I'd rather listen to Thin LIzzy-o"? Using that method, hey, anything can rhyme. Fantastico! pps - A new series of Secret Life Of Us! Hurrah. The only reason I'm not watching it right now is I'm videoing the double bill to watch tomorrow night with my girl. We saw a bit of this series being filmed when we were in St Kilda about a year and a half ago. The tall serious guy in the suit who'd had the baby was sitting outside a cafe on the corner. It was one of those great "hey, we really are on the other side of the planet" moments. We couldn't stop laughing. I hope we didn't ruin any takes. ppps - the other great "hey, we really are on the other side of the planet" moment was seeing the Sydney Opera House for the first time. I actually felt upside down. It was so strange. Quite a landmark in my life in fact - I knew then and there that this was the furthest away I'd ever get from home and everything from then on was simply retracing my steps. I know there's probably places that are further away from London, but the Sydney Opera House is the furthest away Iconic Thing. It's hard to explain. But it was an amazing feeling, for sure. pppps - have I mentioned that before? Sorry if so. It's the Thin Lizzy in my head. It does funny things to you, you know.... http://www.howdoesitfeel.co.uk +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
