On the subject of artists royalties. Taping a CD for a friend is not an attempt to make a profit at the artists expense. Those who love the tape and can afford to will buy the CD anyway if they can. Pirate CD's of currently available (or soon to be available - Tigermilk we pray) material is taking money out of the pocket of the artist. Pirate CD's / Tapes of live gigs ? I'm not sure whether it's fair or not. If any band members read this, how do you feel on this one? Which leads me on nicely to a desperate request, one which I suspect gets asked rather a lot. Could anyone please tape me a copy of Tigermilk if I send them a blank tape? I know it's a bit cheeky, but I promise to buy if if it ever becomes available on CD. Can't offer much back in return b&s way, as all I have is the stuff everyone's got, but I would be really very grateful. pobrien100@msn.com Thank you in advance to some generous kind hearted soul out there. Patrick O'Brien p.s. does anyone out there like Momus ? I think that he's a noticable influence in quite a few b&s songs. He's released tons of stuff over the years, some a bit iffy, but some is sublime. He's got a great web site at http://www.demon.co.uk/momus/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . This message was brought to you by the Sinister mailing list. .
