HEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! ken chu said he went to a virgin store (oooooooooh...) to look for the new single and ... "The people at Virgin looked at me as though I was going to buy the new Stereophonics single.. I got scared for a bit that they might think I'm an indie kid, so I moved my hand over to the Steps CD instead, and they looked away cos I was cool and mediocre again and don't like groundbreaking stuff like Stereophonics." i'm probly the only one on the list who A) doesn't know where ken lives and B) works in a virgin store??? please mr, mr don't put all the corporate whoring hideous-uniform-shirt-wearing megamegachainstore workers in a yuckyyuckpants type box, cuz some of us are only working there cos all the cool little record stores are hard to get places in. and also its easy to have a no-brainer job like this cuz then you can spend all day thinking about other things while you automaton around the place, drifting around the country 'n western section, playing doris day on the easy listening floor on friday nights REAL LOUD and putting up small "Sinister?" signs in the wee vinyl section. YES! we'll infiltrate the system and take them out from WITHIN! (dude). oh,& happily the virgin chain has taken a liking to the newie and they play "loneliness of a ..." every other day, yippee! with love from brenda (oxford street london, NO LESS!) ps. stereophonics are D.R.A.B pps. anyone else like the moldy peaches? saw them last week and got a hug off the bunny during a tune ("Steak for chicken", my fave). sooooooooo happy and fluffy, ah. ------------------------------------------------------------ . +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
