God, pre-unsubbing posting frenzy. Peter asked whether "The Wicker Man" soundtrack was any good. I haven't actually got the record, but the music in the film is fab. A lad I knew at school used to disrupt English lessons by chanting the Pagan fertility song that the kids sing in the film while dancing round the maypole. It's top. The song that Britt Ekland sings attempting to seduce Puritan copper Edward Woodward is gorgeous as well. Incidentally, as I know Peter digs Rod Stewart as well as Rodddney, he may be interested to know that Rod tried to buy the rights to the film to prevent the world from seeing his missus in the knack.
