and that'll be three pounds fifty. how are you all doing, sinisterites? well, I hope. the weather here in new york has been absolutely lovely the past week or so, which makes these long summer days much more bearable. what doesn't make them more bearable is my having not found another job yet. no one will hire me to do anything, and this is bad, as I have credit card bills from london still to pay. I still have another year of uni left, which is a Good Thing. this whole job fiasco doesn't make my post-college job aspirations seem very good. so I'll be going off to graduate work, possibly in nottingham, possibly in chicago, possibly in london... I really have no idea. all I know about nottingham was learned from robin hood, and I'm pretty sure that modern nottingham has little in common with middle ages fable nottingham. well, that and the fact that I saw a roadside for "sherwood forest" from the motorway on my way to sheffield back in february. ken's "carriage clock" parody/tribute was a small bit of brilliance. I see that a new series of "absolutely fabulous" is scheduled to air sometime this year. oh, how I wish I still lived in london. oh, did anyone catch "the dave gorman collection" on, um, bbc1 a while back? he had the most insane sideburns I've ever seen. even more insane than ken's. and I don't know what any of you who think the single version of "middle distance runner" is worse are thinking. I can't really hear any difference. maybe it's the rocks in my head. "mary jo" is perhaps the most underrated b&s song. -eric ____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
