They are also friends or were friends with Andy Dean, to further the irony. Incidentally I have always loved Calvin & Hobbes, Bill Watterson's decision to end the cartoon really distressed me. In my first year of university my neighbor made some C&H tshirts for our dormitory neighbors and gave them as an Xmas gift, i still have that shirt (we're talking 10 years now - gasp) - it's just ace. sigh, yeah Calvin & Hobbes was probably my favorite cartoon, other than Bloom County.
