Then I decided not to, as the post you would have otherwise gotten would have been one of those "I haven't posted for ages" ones, combined with "what Sinister means to me" and "I had a big trip and met all these people who are great, and now I'm going to list them all" and "here's my heartrending story in full and pointless and overly-personal detail" seasoned with a little "aren't I clever! everyone look at me!". You know, like all my posts used to be. You wouldn't have liked it, and are far better off with what you got, so you should be grateful.
