See, I got a book club thingy and I have to send it away in the next few days or I get some crappy £15 antiques book sent to me, but I want to get 3 books in the 20th century classics section, because there's an offer on. Sooo, I've wittled out the ones I've read / are by authors I know I don't like and I have a list of books i know very little about left. Soooo, would anyone like to give me any reccomendations / wary warnings out of the following? Siegfried Sasoon - Memoirs of a fox hunting man Milan Kundera - The Unbearable lightness of being Neil Gunn - The Silver Darlings Garrison Kellar - Lake Wobegon days F. Scott Fitzgerald - The great gatsby Graham Greene - The heart of the matter Muriel Spark - The Pride of Miss Jean Brodie Kingsley Amis - Lucky Jim Yeah, I know lots of them are quite famous but it was a long list originally, and I'm only 19 you know.
