Erm, the songs on the DOW EP are actually older than those on Tigermilk, and only feature half the current band and a load of session musos.
All of "Dog on Wheels" certainly did sound older than IYFS anyway. I had wondered whether the drummer forgot how to keep time. It sounds as if the drummer was trying to SWING but couldn't keep it steady from one beat to the next. Definitely my least favorite release. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally heard _Tigermilk_. Did any copies of the Tigermilk LP ever make it to the US? Obviously it is much too late now, but I can't help wondering whether they were all sold by about the time "Lazy Line Painter Jane" came out. --Mark __ <http://www.xnet.com/~mkolmar/BurningRome> <MPEG 3 & RealAudio tracks> October 19th: SENSELESS CD on Mindfield Records MindCD03 Cathartium 14 +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
