I've not written in ages. Sorry! Has everyone else been very much shocked by the treatment of poor wee Jenowl? I noticed a few comments about it, but I thought it was really awful. The hard kids in my school always had a go at me, but my friend was way harder than they were, and threatened to do bad things to them with his cricket bat if they beat me up. I reckon we should all form a sinister militia and go sort out the obviously satanic forces that are working against her. Have been listening to the Y2K song by looper a lot recently, which probably had loads to do with my java project; I keep wishing it would crash, but my Dad's bought a new computer with an Athlon chip in it, and Windows ME, which hasn't crashed once yet and it's been in the house for almost five days! I mean, it looks like Windows... This computers so fast compared to the last one, which was learning to redefine the term 'sack of shit'. I highly recommend the Athlon for sir and madam. Was talking to a girl on my course the other day, and she said that 13 was her lucky number, which took me by surprise, as it's mine too. This may seem trite and a little trendy, but I was born on the 13th, as was my dad and my aunt and my grandfather, and my parents were married 13 years before I turned up, my mum was in labour 13 hours with me, and they kept me in hospital for 13 days after. Oh, and I passed my driving test, the fifth time I did it, on the 13th. Bloody glad I'm not called Damien... Anyhow, the whole point to this (there is one), is that I decided to make up a compilation of 13 songs that mean something to me for some reason, or another. And I thought I'd share my lack of taste with you (Although Will Smith is notable by his absence on this one)... 1. Angel Interceptor by Ash 2. All I wanna Do by Sheryl Crow 3. Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead 4. Playground Love by Air 5. Dylan in the movies (natch) 6. Vow by Garbage 7. Disco 2000 by Pulp 8. When the lights go out all over Europe by the Divine Comedy 9. For tomorrow by Blur 10. Baker Baker by Tori Amos 11. Luna by the Smashing Pumpkins 12. Glory Box by Portishead 13. He's on the phone by Saint Etienne I was a little upset about putting the Tori song on; I always meant to get my ex to play it on her piano for me. :( And its still not as good a compilation as the one Amy Jackson made me (bless her!). anyhow, enough bollox from me. You probably could have erased this one to begin with... Finally got into Kid A though. And the Gentle Waves album is lovely; fabulous late night music; I made my sandwiches and rank my Baileys to it last night. Also go the Blur DVD; the To the end video is AMAZING!!!
