*mwah* (both cheeks). oh dear, i've been hanging out with the university drama society too much again. anyway, here's my news: belle and sebastian BROKE MY CD PLAYER! they really did! well, kind of, temporarily. i was starting to compile a tape for my christmas listening pleasure, and the first track, naturally enough, was to be Le Pastie de la Bourgoisie. but as soon as i put the cd in everything went all weird and psychedelic and explosions started happening near the Play button and strange voices went 'nooooo, nooo'. not really. in fact it just didn't work. obviously i was more upset that i wouldn't be able to listen to b&s anymore than anything else, and so i started fiddling frantically with everything that could be fiddled with. technical genius that i am, it eventually worked. and that's the end of the story. it was a bit crap i suppose, but the mix tape is damn good if anyone wants a copy. :) i spent the whole of yesterday afternoon writing xmas cards, and it made me feel all warm inside. especially as some of the people i'm sending them to prbably won't be expecting one from me and hopefully they'll go, *head on one side* 'ahhh, rachel remembered me'. 'natch' means 'naturally' by the way, to whoever asked. it's quite an annoying term though, so don't bother cultivating its use. quicker to type i suppose. big virtual hugs, archel xxx ps: a thought: i bet i am the only person in the world who has bought a belle and sebastian album and a marilyn manson album on the same day. don't ask.
