My sister who goes to Columbia taped Chris Geddes on the radio for me. All she said about it though was that I will be disappointed because it was bad reception. Which I don't understand because Columbia is right across the street from Barnard! I still don't know what he did for, two hours was it? Somebody interviewed him for a bit I think. Did he play his keyboard maybe? Was he the only one there? I'll ask her about it.
i know that i had to turn the radio to NONstereo mode to get proper reception but after that it was fine. chris came by at around 11 and brought along some records and played them for an hour and there were interview bits in between. he played: Fifth Dimension, Sunshine of Your Life Ramsey Lewis, Back in the USSR Phil Ochs, One Way Ticket Home John Phillips, April Anne Ramsey Lewis, Wade in the Water Rod Stewart, True Blue Time Box, Beggin' Sharon Cash, Fever Midnight Cowboy Soundtrack, Tears and Joys Ramsey Lewis, Everybody's Got Something to Hide... Dymaxion, 1-Man Transport Crazy Elephant, My Baby (Honey Pie) so yes, i have it on tape as well and would love to trade (esp. for any of the european sessions or any of the live tapes.) hopefully, this will help ease the burden off of tami's shoulders a bit. love, stanzi, who misses chat and especially Honey & Damon's tarting, JohnFM (whos grandfather did dentistry for chickens!), and dear Sezzie & miss erin. :) +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
