I saw a program on a US public access forum today and it piqued my interest. The show revolved around this very romantic German couple (now residing in Toronto, they say) who take trips everywhere and then come back and tell everyone about them. I believe they have a company called Bonaventure Travel Productions, if this rings any bells. Anyway, I turned on the program halfway through this short segment they were doing in a church of some sorts, called the National Museum. (I believe they said it was in Germany, but I've been on antihistamines all day, so that could be way off) The church was evidently a museum of old and rare musical peices, like organs, player pianos, player violins and most especially, music boxes. They said they had 900 different peices, and over 600 are played 'round the clock to provide the most amazing sound I have ever heard in my life. The music boxes were just incredible too: one of them was a mime that is writing a letter by candlelight, and as the candle would burn out his head slowly droops until it hits his chest, when he raises his head, lights the lamp again and begins writing again. Purely amazing. If anyone has ever seen this program, or been to this church, and can pass on some info my way, I'd be much appreciative.
