Ok, so our eastern european jaunt ran into major problems so now we're headed to Montreal. If anyone on this list lives there, can you send me an e-mail? I have questions on happenings in the city. Now, I need to work on my frenchy. Has anyone heard of My Morning Jacket. I just got their lastest CD, it's really quite good -- I guess they belong in the Alt-country catalog to give you an idea of the sound. It's a mix of Johnny Cash, Americana, Luna/Galaxie 500 and in some places they sound like what little I know about Pink Floyd and Yes (longer songs that sound very different in some parts). Anyway, just wanted to share because I told a friend of mine about them (who's a big fan of Wilco, Uncle Tup, Whiskeytown, Ryan Adams, etc) and he immediately declared them his fave band once he bought their album and he's usually not easily impressed. Cheers, Sam _________________________________________________________________ FREE pop-up blocking with the new MSN Toolbar get it now! http://toolbar.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200415ave/direct/01/ +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
