Who can name the most obscure record they own???
i think it is obscure: '7th free record' by Smile ( there are other bands called Smile, which are more well knowni woudl think!). this Smile was from illinois ( champaign/urbana i think), about 5 years ago, and sounds a lot like galaxie 500, in fact they ahd a song called 'galaxy 500'! its very pretty music, and two tracks ended up on a compilation cd ( 'on a clear day you can see byron' ) but they weren't my favorite tracks, darn it! i loved that record, bought two copies, each were indivudually hand painted and numbered. i traded one to someone for a field mice flexi, someone who seemed cool, and i never heard back from them, and wondered if the album offended them! i wish i had that other copy again... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- .
