Yes, I think that's where they were from. They had a song called Whistling in the Dark, about the miners' strike, so they might have been loony lefties like The Style Council and The Redskins, who also had cracking songs about or inspired by the miners' strike. I'm not sure, but I think Easterhouse estate is famous for having no pubs or shops. Legend has it that you're unlikely to get out alive if you go for a visit.
