i didn't think the belle and sebastian would set 19+ dates, but there goes my optimism down the plug hole.
The Chicago show is 18+. Most other dates seem to be all-ages? It would appear that the -venue- can restrict the age range of people coming into their establishment, or the city or town could prohibit people under a certain age from going into a place that serves alcohol (the Metro in Chicago does have a bar). It did seem odd to me that a band which invokes such strong feelings of being the odd, sensitive kid in school would not do all-ages shows. ("Belle and Sebastian...playing songs for children") Obviously they have a decent number of fans under 19 or 18. --Mark __ <http://www.xnet.com/~mkolmar/BurningRome> <MPEG & RA audio clips> Imminent: SENSELESS CD on Mindfield Records MindCD03 Cathartium 14 "The electricity is no better off than on." +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
