Sinistars, Someone asked about a song during a Simpsons episode (the chili pepper one). I think it's "Seventeen" by Janis Ian. A nice song isn't it? Almost B&S-like in its gentle folk sound but somewhat bittersweet observation/reflection. (There, I did it, married Simpsons discussion with B&S! Feel like I've tied a maraschino cherry stem with my tongue) Not to be confused with "When I was seventeen, I drank some very good beer..." I hope people are making an effort to see Marine Research as they trudge across this vast land of ours. They put on a great show and are really nice folks to boot. They were awesome in Philly last Thursday...anybody to share? Apparently Cathy wasn't feeling all that well (they were going to see a doctor but they had no time) but you didn't see her refuse to play. (Ouch!) I kid, I kid. I kid because I love. Peter Momtchiloff is an amazing guitarist btw. Up there with Johnny Marr, Graham Coxon, Maurice Deebank and of course whoever played guitar in the Monochrome Set natch. Maybe I'm alone in thinking this but B&S are going to have a really tough act to follow with _Tigermilk_ re-released this week. Now instead of the elite few sniffing "Eh it's not as good as _Tigermilk_", *everybody* is going to sniff the same sentiment, and everyone will nod knowingly instead of shrugging and saying "I wouldn't know, I haven't heard it yet..." Man, that was annoying for a while I must say. You fuckers!!! You know who you are!:) Oh, there I go again. About this Mick^3 being 35 business--maybe he has a verbal case of Werner Syndrome?
