Hey kids, stuff the higher education and the nine to five job, and be like me, become a professional gambler.( I take no responsibility for any losses occured by people actually taking this advice). But only do it if, like me, you have "the gift"... Actually I think after walking in to the local betting place I changed my mind, you know, its not all classy and swanky like the ads say, but a bunch of old men with paunches scratching their crotches and craning their necks to see what just won... But of course as soon as they saw me walk in they felt 'the gift'and turned around in awe, as any seasoned gambler knows, 'the gifted one' deserves all this and more. This is all because I won a largeish amount of money ($500Aus or probably 95p or so in England) on "the Melbourne cup" the race that allegedly 'stops a nation' which is bollocks because it didn't get me out of doing work and exams.... Anyway I bet only once a year or so and my method of choosing a horse consists of, good name, good colours, and good number. I bet $2 on a quinella and god all mighty if it didn't just come in, paying $240 for every dollar put on. Thankyou Rogan Josh and Central Park....I'm on my way from cash-strapped, to still cash strapped with a really good CD collection and a really big hangover. So the question arises.... what to do with this money? (although I think it might be useful in financing my overseas trip in January or so, but stuff it I'm going to spend some) So... I write to enquire about any Australian listees (hey I know this is area specific.)I haven't got any of the B & S EP's/singles (because as you may know the only album that has actually got release here is TBWTAS and the only way I got the other albums was through import) and I was wondering whether any of you have got any of the EP's and how exactly you got them, ie internet, import, etc and what was the cheapest for you. I would like to get Lazy Line Painter Jane and the modern rock song single, as I have heard favourable reviews but even though I have won money lately I don't really want to spend it on stuff that could be avoided. If any of you could mail me privately this would be alot of help and I would be eternally grateful.
