this one is from a local weekly mag at my school: Belle & Sebastian The Boy With the Arab Strap (Matador) Last year B&S released If You're Feeling Sinister, the single best debut record to come out of Scotland ever. The eight piece band transcended indie music, creating something lovely and now returns with The Boy With the Arab Strap, an albumthat continues where Sinister concluded. Many of the songs, such as "Sleep the Clock Around" and the title track, seem to be in the same vein of Sinister's beauty. Darker tunes arise like "Spaceboy Dream" and "Simple Things", but this reveals the band's range as complete instrumental wizards. Watch for this flawless wok to appear as one of '98's best. **** enjoy, dmitry +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister@majordomo.net".
