Hello again, I just thought I'd pop my head round the door again to say that members of Belle and Sebastian, you know, that top pop duo, are going to be on the phone (at some point) on Steve Lurpack's evening session tommorow night. So that means you'll have to listen to lots of lovely bang-clash-indie-dross and 'intelligent' hip hop for two hours in the hope of catching five minutes of crackled mumbling. Probably. Also, you might have heard, but Legal Man is Mark and Lard's single of the week so they will be playing it every day on their show. Mummy even says it's been put on the Radio One play list good and proper, so you can all break out in cold sweats now in anticipation of five year olds/the record buying public (damn them!) buying the product of your beloved. Heaven forbid they should make some money! I quite like the idea of a sinister uniform, but I'll have no mention of T-shirts, it's got to be straighten-up smart, with gold buttons and lapels. What will we do in our uniforms? Storm the city, with military like precision, and bring the system to it's knees? That would be good. But we must make sure we don't just throw a few chairs around in Macdonald's like those other chaps. The new Black Box Recorder Album is very precious. It's just so clever, so pretty...and so horrible. I keep having a dream that I'm dancing with Luke Haines in a Ballroom on the end of a pier, it's really quiet apart from the floating sound of an old fashioned piano banging out a waltz. I think if you like the way that Struan sings dirty words in a soft voice, you'll like The Facts of Life. I recommend.
